Express is hiring MIG Welders for a company in Danville that specializes in refurbishing railroad castings. This is a great opportunity to join an established team and put your welding skills to work!

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform grinding and welding of couplers to AAR gauge recommendations

• Inspect completed couplers to ensure they meet proper specifications

• Operate heavy grinders and handle materials up to 50 lbs

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow housekeeping standards

• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management

What You Bring to the Team:

• Previous MIG welding experience (Air Arc experience is a plus, not required)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely operate heavy grinders

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Willingness to follow directions and work as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to pass required breathing and well tests
