Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30 pm 

(Must be open to train 5am-1:30pm)

A growing metal distribution company is seeking a dependable Metal Packer to join its Flat Roll Department. This is a long-term opportunity offering hands-on work in an industrial environment. Initial training will be provided to ensure familiarity with job duties, safety procedures, and equipment operation.You are applying through Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning staffing firm.

Metal Packer – Flat Roll Department Responsibilities:

• Package flat rolled metal sheets and plates according to company standards
• Stack supplies and materials safely and efficiently
• Pack flat rolled metal coils using banding/strapping equipment
• Use hand tools as required for packaging and securing materials
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general shop and warehouse tasks as assigned
• Occasionally operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and product
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Metal Packer – Flat Roll Department Requirements:

• Previous experience in metal distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Steel-toe boots required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
