Key Responsibilities

Custodial & Cleaning Duties

• Clean and maintain all facility areas, including:
  
  

• Floors (sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping, waxing)
  
  

• Classrooms, offices, common areas, and hallways
  
  

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms
  
  

• Empty trash and recycling receptacles; replace liners as needed
  
  

• Maintain janitorial closets and ensure proper use of cleaning supplies
  
  

Facility & Grounds Support

• Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance on furniture, equipment, and building fixtures
  
  

• Lock and unlock doors, windows, and gates according to procedures
  
  

• Maintain exterior cleanliness and keep grounds orderly
  
  

Event & Room Support

• Set up and break down rooms for internal and external meetings or events
  
  

• Ensure spaces are cleaned and ready for use before and after events
  
  

Additional Duties

• Launder cleaning rags, tablecloths, and other linens
  
  

• Use hand tools and custodial equipment safely and properly
  
  

• Complete other cleaning or light maintenance tasks as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of custodial or janitorial experience required
  
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

• Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety
  
  

• Working knowledge of custodial methods, chemicals, and equipment
  
  

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
  
  

• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and standing for extended periods
  
  

• Ability to climb ladders up to 6 feet
  
  

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  
  

• Ability to pass a background check
