A local manufacturing company is seeking a Temporary Accounting Assistant for an approximately 3-month, on-site assignment. This role supports tax account setup, wage entry, and basic payroll and HR-related tasks. Ideal for a detail-oriented professional with prior experience navigating state and government websites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with converting state tax filings to FEIN-based registrations
• Set up and manage tax accounts across multiple government and state websites
• Support basic HR functions, including wage entry for state website registrations
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information
• Provide basic accounting and HR administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience setting up tax accounts on multiple online platforms
• Working knowledge of HR confidentiality and wage processing
• Payroll experience with ADP systems and SmartCompliance preferred; training available
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Professional written communication skills
