Shipper/Receiver Associate

Hours: Monday - Friday: 7am-3pm 

Pay: $19.25/hr

A Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for tasks related to handling and tracking packages, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that shipments are delivered to the right locations. This role is a key component of the daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and logistics operations of the company.

 

• Prepares finished goods for shipment by properly boxing, packaging, wrapping, and labelling. Ensures orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Schedules shipping pick-ups and coordinates with carrier services, shipping companies, and other logistics providers to coordinate transportation of goods.
• Maintains accurate records and tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receives, unpacks, inspects, and labels raw materials into inventory. Verifies that quantities received and material type are correct. Moves raw materials to appropriate holding location.
• Performs off-loom inspection of finished product. Cuts rolls into specific lengths (will be trained)
• Communicates with suppliers and customers regarding shipping and delivery schedules
