Tool Crib Attendant, $20.92 an hour, 1st shift

 

Assure timely replenishment of all plant supplies stocked in BRP Sturtevant Tool Crib by:

 

- tracking Guide TI restocking report

- creating Purchase Orders

- obtaining proper approvals

- delivering Purchase Orders to appropriate vendor

- verifying data on confirmations

- and checking for accuracy upon delivery.

 

Assure timely tracking and turnaround of all repairable maintenance items.

 

Assure timely tracking and turnaround of all resharpening and replenishment of production cutting tools. Stocking of purchased goods.

 

Regular straightening and organization of stock throughout the crib.

 

Record keeping for historic knowledge of repairs and purchases.

 

Liaison for Manufacturing Engineers to Vendors. Enter and organize new crib item additions into appropriate locations.

 

Attend the needs of all visitors to Tool Crib to provide necessary resources or direction. In depth knowledge of Guide TI software required to create purchase orders and receive goods for financial transactions.

 

In depth knowledge of Guide TI software required for understanding of usage habits, increases and decreases. In depth knowledge of Guide TI software required for reporting information to Finance department as well as to help Engineers make informed decisions.

 

Functional users of Microsoft Office Suite as well as the Google Doc / Sheet equivalents. Functional and professional communication ability required both internally to all levels of the organization and externally to all of our valued suppliers.
