Full time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$22hr to $24hr depending on experience

 

A privately help benefit administration company providing high-quality, cost-effective programs uniquely designed to meet specific needs for plan sponsors and participants is seeking an Admin Assistant to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support management and staff. This position helps ensure smooth office operations by handling scheduling, communication, document preparation, and data management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and paper files.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Support onboarding processes and maintain employee records (as needed).
  • Coordinate office logistics such as travel, events, or meeting arrangements.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
