Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals – Katy is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to support manufacturing operations at a dynamic plant environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, is highly organized, and has experience with production scheduling, work orders, and materials management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

• Receive goods and enter MTR documents into the ROG database.

• Update scheduling systems, including OTR (Over the Road) and master lists.

• Maintain and update the Tanks in the Yard Report and other production tracking tools.

• Support the purchasing process for maintenance and production departments.

• Analyze the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within the plant to improve efficiency.

• Assist with scheduling inspections, job follow-ups, and parts-only job statuses.

• Monitor shop attendance, clock-ins/outs, and work order completion accuracy.

• Prepare standard reports, maintain records, and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or plant operations.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in data entry and experience with work order or ERP systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with multiple departments.
