CNC Operator (A1877)

Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join there team at. As a Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

 

Responsibilities:

• 2nd Shifts Available
• Operate conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Programming
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform repairs as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machinery
• Solid understanding of machining techniques and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in machining or related field
• Certification in machining or CNC programming
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
