Up to $3,000 annual Spanish-language differential (pending assessment)
Bi-weekly incentive bonuses (total annual compensation $70,000–$85,000)
A well-established legal organization is seeking a Paralegal to support pre-litigation personal injury and mass tort matters. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys hands-on case involvement, claimant communication, and working in a fast-paced legal environment.
This role focuses on guiding claimants through the pre-litigation process, assisting with investigations, medical record review, and case documentation while working closely with attorneys and the case management team.
Conduct intake interviews and follow-ups with claimants or their representatives regarding personal injury matters, including defective drugs or devices and environmental exposure claims
Assist with pre-litigation investigations, aspects of discovery preparation, correspondence drafting, and case analysis
Guide claimants through the pre-litigation process, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
Coordinate and follow up on the retrieval of medical and other claimant records
Review, organize, and annotate medical records in accordance with established documentation and bookmarking procedures
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned claimants, responding to inquiries and providing claim updates
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files and notes
Communicate claim status and case developments to supervising attorneys and internal stakeholders
Perform administrative support tasks including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining case documentation
Associate’s Degree required (Paralegal Studies or related field preferred)
1+ year of experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, mass tort, or insurance defense
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, empathetic approach
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures
Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Comfortable working with legal case management systems and data entry platforms
Self-motivated and collaborative
Spanish fluency a plus (salary differential available)
