CNC Laser/Brake Operator – 1st Shift
   In-Person | $17.00–$22.00/hr | Full-Time

 

We’re currently seeking a skilled CNC Laser/Brake Operator to join our 1st Shift team. The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime. This role is essential to our production operations and requires a team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC laser and CNC press brake machinery
• Perform part modeling and use metrology equipment for measurements
• Inspect parts prior to and during production for accuracy and conformance
• Manufacture products per verbal instructions, work travelers, prints, and technical documentation
• Determine sequence of operations, setup, and material/tooling needs
• Accurately report raw materials and inventory used
• Prioritize jobs and maintain organized workstations
• Deburr and clean parts post-production
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular machine and floor upkeep
• Verify machine fluid levels and ensure preventative maintenance is up to date
• Communicate non-conforming output to the Quality Department upon detection
• Select, inspect, and maintain proper tooling and fixtures
• Review and interpret blueprints, engineering documents, and setup instructions
• Submit first-piece inspections and track setup/cycle times
• Perform in-process inspections and complete documentation accurately
• Package and/or prepare product for the next production step
• Save and manage machine programs appropriately
• Provide feedback for discrepancies in BOM, routing, or documentation
• Participate in cross-functional tasks as needed to support production flow
• Maintain compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
• Report equipment, part, or inventory issues promptly

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with CNC laser cutting
• Proficiency in computer, math, and machine programming
• Familiarity with CAD and part modeling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
• Must pass a drug screening to qualify for employment
