We are seeking a Heavy -Duty Truck Parts Advisor for a well-established trucking dispatch company in Kitchener. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter with previous rental experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty Truck automotive industry.
Schedule: Full time, Kitchener, ON
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 am - 7:00pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Inspect damaged parts brought in by customers to determine the proper placement
- Identify necessary part on the basis of the customer's description
- Examine returned parts for defects and confer with customers about appropriate actions
- Receive and fill telephone orders, emails and e-commerce
- Unpack and mark incoming parts and store them in the stockroom according to a pre-arranged system
- Take inventory, including cycle counts
- Attend dealer-specified and/or factory-sponsored training courses
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous rental experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty Truck automotive industry
- Experience in field-heavy equipment and agriculture automotive
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service and problem- solving skills
