Job Title: Front End Loader Operator / Backup Scale Operator

Pay: $17 an hour (once hired permanent, up to $20 an hour)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front End Loader Operator / Backup Scale Operator to support our operations. The ideal candidate can safely operate a front-end loader, accurately count inventory, and assist with scale operations while providing excellent customer service to incoming truckers.

Key Responsibilities

• Load poles onto trucks using a front-end loader
• Serve as a backup scale operator as needed
• Accurately count poles and logs using photos for verification to maintain proper inventory
• Use iPads and computers for inventory, record-keeping, and other operational tasks
• Assist incoming truckers with a professional and courteous attitude
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating a FE Loader
• Strong attention to detail and ability to count logs accurately
• Basic computer literacy; comfortable using iPads and computers for multiple tasks
• Reliable and punctual, with strong work ethic
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, outdoor and warehouse environment
• Hands-on role requiring physical activity and machine operation
• Team-oriented, with interaction with drivers and staff
