Salary: $75k - $85k
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects from project initiation through final billing and warranty follow-up. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the estimating process and how it supports the Project Manager role.
Maintain all required systems, documentation, and reporting to ensure contract compliance.
Set up projects in the job cost system, track accurate project costs, and generate timely billings based on contract schedules and guidelines.
Prepare, submit, and track project submittals to ensure approved materials are used.
Process pricing requests and manage change order approvals.
Coordinate project completion and manage all project closeout documentation, including warranty requirements.
Partner closely with Estimators to transition awarded bids into active projects, including plan and scope review.
Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Maintain strong working relationships and open communication with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal team members.
Coordinate with Installers to ensure materials availability, scheduling accuracy, and successful job completion.
Determine the most effective approach for ordering, delivery, distribution, and installation of materials.
Monitor and track project progress, schedules, and costs.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in processes and installation methods to maximize quality while controlling costs.
Communicate job-specific expectations clearly to Installers for each project.
Maintain professional and timely communication with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
Provide prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Participate in the Safety Committee when requested.
