Summary

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be packed and appropriate labeling based on product classifications such as allergen or organic.
• Set up and operate equipment used in the packaging of manufactured product.
• Accurate weighing of finished goods product.
• Affix appropriate labels on finished products with recognition of hazmat labeling.
• Place labeled containers on pallets and transfer to shipping area.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Operate forklift and other conveyance equipment such as electrical pallet jacks and or manual hand trucks.
• Cleaning, operates floor-scrubber, Cleaning Tanks and Pumps, Emptying of trash, General product rooms
• Reports food safety issues to the Production Manager or Director of Operations.
• Operate Forklift and Manual Pallet Jacks

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software, and basic computer use.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand 6-8+ hours per day; must regularly lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
