Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver for a local company in the Yuba-Sutter area. This position involves transporting concrete materials such as blocks, rails, and other heavy products to and from various job sites within a 9-mile radius. The ideal candidate will have strong driving experience, a solid understanding of safety standards, and the ability to assist with loading and unloading using a forklift and shuttle lift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A CDL truck with a manual (stick shift) transmission to deliver concrete materials.

• Load and unload materials at job sites using a forklift and shuttle lift.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries.

• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and inspections.

• Secure all materials properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with manual (stick shift) transmission experience with no restrictions.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction or materials transport.

• Ability to operate a forklift and shuttle lift (training available if needed).

• Strong understanding of DOT and company safety regulations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy materials.

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

• Flexible with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
