Requirements

• MA diploma 
• 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience
• Reliable and Personable
• Hands-on BLS certification 
• TB test 
• Pediatric experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ability to take patient vitals
• Ability to administer vaccines and medications
• Ability to log vaccines - on paper & electronically
• Basic knowledge of Florida SHOTS (statewide registry)
• Basic computer skills to work in Electronic medical records system
• Perform labs including blood draws
• Perform vision & hearing screens
• Speedy data entry
• Make appointments
• Verify insurance
• Must have Flexible work hours, especially during the summer months
• Manage patient flow with a physician
• Kid friendly
• Scanning
• Strong personal skills
• Strong communication skills - in person & on the phone
• Desire to work as a team member
