Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexible hours)
Pay: $25.00+ per hour, DOE

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Automotive Upholstery Trimmer to join a professional shop specializing in custom automotive interiors. This role focuses on high-quality craftsmanship, including seat fabrication and interior installation work.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble automotive seat panels

• Install headliners, carpets, and interior trim

• Work with vinyl, leather, and fabric materials

• Read patterns and follow job specifications

• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail

• Work independently in a production or custom shop environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an automotive trimmer or upholstery technician

• Experience with automotive interiors preferred

• Strong craftsmanship, accuracy, and time management skills

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Tools & Equipment Used:

• Industrial sewing machines (single-needle, walking foot)

• Pneumatic staplers and staple guns

• Hog ring tools and fasteners

• Foam cutting tools and hot knives

• Heat guns and steamers

• Spray adhesive systems

• Upholstery hand tools (shears, knives, trim tools)

• Measuring and pattern-making tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Manual dexterity for repetitive hand motions

• Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity

• Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, and adhesives
