HR Generalist
Location: Jacksonville, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $19-$20/hour dependent on experience

A family-owned, well-established company in Jacksonville, IL is seeking an HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating across departments in a professional, positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support talent acquisition and employee onboarding

• Manage employee relations and address workplace concerns professionally

• Administer timekeeping, attendance, and leave programs (FMLA, PTO)

• Assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination

• Maintain HR systems and employee records

• Support employee training and organizational development initiatives

• Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws

• Participate in safety management and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

• Experience with timekeeping, attendance, and leave management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism

• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
