HVAC Counter Customer Service & Warehouse Associate (with Part-Time Delivery Driving)

Full-Time | On-Site | Chantilly, VA

Schedule: M-F / 8:00 am- 5:00 pm [some alternating weekends possible]

Pay: 18.00-20.00/hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on team member to join our HVAC supply operation. This hybrid position combines customer-facing counter service, warehouse/inventory support, and occasional delivery driving. If you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and doing work that keeps you moving, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skillset in a stable industry.

Entry-level and customer service professionals interested in the skilled trades or HVAC industry are strongly encouraged to apply — even if your experience comes from retail or non-technical customer service. We will train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service (Counter Sales – Approx. 50%)

Greet and assist HVAC technicians, contractors, and walk-in customers with professionalism and product knowledge
Identify and recommend appropriate parts, equipment, and solutions based on customer needs
Process orders, returns, and special requests using our POS/Inventory system
Maintain a clean and organized counter area to ensure an exceptional customer experience

Inventory & Warehouse Operations (Approx. 35%)

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments
Pull and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper labeling
Organize the warehouse for optimal workflow, safety, and cleanliness
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed

Part-Time Delivery Driving (Approx. 15%)

Deliver orders to customers using a company vehicle (van or light truck)
Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while representing the company professionally
Follow all traffic and safety regulations
Assist with route planning and vehicle upkeep (fueling, basic checks, cleanliness)

Qualifications

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or industrial supply experience is a plus, but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet
Comfortable using inventory or POS systems (training provided)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
