Production Worker – Line Assembly

Our Client in the automotive interior business is hiring for a production worker to assemble car armrests in Scarborough. The role involves a fast-paced, repetitive environment and requires standing for the entire shift. It does NOT involve mechanical work or machinery operation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and handle small car parts (armrests).
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures at all times.
• Complete assigned tasks within shift timelines and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Stand for long periods and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly line experience is needed.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for full shifts.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Minimal lifting (up to 10 lbs).
• Must be punctual with reliable attendance.
• Steel-toed safety shoes and blue pants required.
• English required; Chinese language skills are an asset.

Compensation & Shifts

• Pay: $19.00/hour + shift premiums
• Morning (Shift A): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM → $0.20/hr premium
• Afternoon (Shift B): 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
• Night (Shift C): 12:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
• (Shift length may vary between 6–7 hours depending on production demand)
