Seeking an organized, detail-oriented accountant to support day-to-day financial operations at a local nonprofit organization. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives with a combination of structure and accuracy as well as collaboration and purpose.

What You'll Do:

• Support general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
• Help prepare financial reports for leadership and partners
• Process AP and AR
• Track restricted funds, grants, and program expenses
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with nonprofit and GAAP standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to support budgets and audits

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience a plus / not required)
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software and Excel
• Detail oriented, organized, reliable
• Clear communicator who enjoys being part of a supportive team
• Appreciation for mission-driven work and community impact

This role requires working on-site in Watsonville, CA. Pay DOE, full time hours.
