Our client is hiring an experienced A&P Certified Technician in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) role offers a stable Monday–Thursday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for travel and overtime.

Job Overview

The A&P Technician will perform aircraft engine disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced aviation maintenance environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Perform physical work requiring walking, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Maintain full engagement in company safety, quality, and performance initiatives
• Use proper hand and power tools in accordance with FAA and EH&S standards

Roles & Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble aircraft engines and engine assemblies
• Clean aircraft engine components and assemblies
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to determine part condition
• Repair engine components for return to service
• Inspect and maintain specialized aircraft tooling for serviceability
• Follow all EH&S, FAA, and company safety policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer and operational demands
• Travel as required to support MRT and customer service jobs

Qualifications & Education Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid FAA A&P License (required)
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of aircraft maintenance or engine technician experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. work authorization
• Must supply own aircraft maintenance hand tools
• Willingness to travel for maintenance and repair jobs
