Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company in Shreveport is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of press brake operations, reads prints accurately, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to form metal parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bend specifications

• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerances and standards

• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy

• Safely handle materials and finished parts

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Perform other shop duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous press brake operating experience required

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to lift materials as required in a shop environment

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial setting
