Job Description

A growing steel fabrication company in Bossier City is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is responsible for receiving inbound materials, preparing outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting production through timely material movement. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments

• Prepare, stage, and load outgoing orders for shipment

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation

• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability

• Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed

• Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe

• Perform general warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift experience or certification a plus

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as required

• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
