We are currently looking for a qualified Freight Department Lead for a company located in Hardeeville. 

Pay: $19.00/hr.

Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm

Job Responsibilities: 

• Process freight orders using the Flying Fish system

• Create, update, and manage shipping and freight orders

• Communicate with truck drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, and paperwork

• Review and verify manifests for accuracy and completeness

• Sort, organize, and file shipping documents by carrier

• Ensure freight documentation complies with company and carrier requirements

• Track shipments and resolve discrepancies or delays

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to support daily operations

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Provide general administrative support to the freight department

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous freight, shipping, or logistics experience preferred

• Experience using the Flying Fish system or similar freight software a plus

• Strong communication skills; comfortable speaking with truck drivers and carriers

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read and verify manifests and shipping documents

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
