Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support residential properties including condos, townhomes, and vacation homes along the Gulf Coast. This position is ideal for a skilled, hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work and enjoys troubleshooting, repairs, and keeping properties guest-ready.

Responsibilities

✅ Perform routine maintenance and repairs for residential properties
✅ Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, appliances, and fixtures
✅ Complete preventative maintenance and property inspections
✅ Prepare properties for guest arrivals and owner occupancy
✅ Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed
✅ Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and contractors
✅ Maintain service records, tools, and inventory
✅ Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements

✅ 2+ years of maintenance or property management experience preferred
✅ Strong general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall)
✅ Basic HVAC knowledge preferred
✅ Ability to manage multiple work orders and work independently
✅ Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
✅ Comfortable working in both occupied and vacant properties
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills

Schedule & Work Environment

✅ Full-time position
✅ Indoor and outdoor work in coastal environments
✅ May include weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
✅ Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced property management environment
