Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a skilled Powder Coater for a company located in Smithville, TN.

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to metal parts and products using various equipment and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in powder coating, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
• Apply powder coating using spray guns or automated equipment, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish
• Monitor oven temperatures and conveyor speeds to ensure proper curing of powder coating
• Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of powder coating equipment and work area
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
• Assist with other tasks in the finishing department as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is a plus
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques
• Ability to interpret job orders and follow instructions accurately
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
