Heavy Construction Materials CDL Driver (Flatbed, Ready Mix, End Dump & Pneumatic)

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly (Every Friday)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Start Times as Early as 6:15 AM | Varied Hours + Overtime Available

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Drivers to join a growing construction materials operation. This role may include transporting and delivering structural concrete products, concrete block, ready mix concrete, bulk materials, or dry powder products using flatbed, end dump, ready mix, or pneumatic tanker trucks.

Drivers will be responsible for safe hauling, proper load securement, on-time deliveries, and operating specialized equipment such as Moffetts and pneumatic unloading systems depending on assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL tractor-trailer equipment including flatbed, end dump, ready mix, and pneumatic tanker trucks
• Transport and deliver construction materials such as:
  • Structural concrete products & precast materials
  • Concrete block
  • Ready mix concrete
  • Gravel, sand, soil, and bulk materials
  • Cement powder, lime, fly ash, and other dry bulk products
• Secure loads using chains, straps, binders, and proper DOT-compliant methods
• Operate Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) when required for unloading deliveries
• Load/unload materials safely using truck systems, pneumatic equipment, or jobsite assistance
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, load tickets, and inspection records
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety standards, and all jobsite safety rules
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and jobsite crews
• Assist with equipment operation or site support duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
• 1–2+ years of commercial driving experience (varies by equipment type)
• Experience in at least one of the following preferred:
  • Flatbed / structural concrete hauling
  • Ready mix concrete delivery
  • End dump / bulk material hauling
  • Pneumatic tanker / dry bulk hauling
• Moffett experience preferred (or forklift experience acceptable for training)
• Knowledge of load securement, DOT safety rules, and construction site operations
• Ability to handle physically demanding work (hoses, equipment, jobsite conditions)
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
