About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Reconciliation Specialist to join a finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records by reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Support audits by providing necessary reconciliation reports and documentation.
• Continuously improve reconciliation processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in account reconciliation or similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Finance, Business, or Accounting Degree required
