Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings. The role requires attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on a variety of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and fixtures.

• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, deburring, and polishing welded parts.

• Troubleshoot and repair weld defects as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding preferred.

• Proven experience (2+ years) in MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environment.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

• Certification from AWS (American Welding Society) or equivalent is a plus.
