Maintenance Mechanic Technician

Located in Edinburgh, IN

Salary: Up to $30/hour

Job Summary/Company Information: 

• An Edinburgh Veneer company is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team!
• The Maintenance Technician performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on heavy equipment/machinery such as slicers, dryers, sawmills, payloaders, forklifts, etc.
• The Technician will be responsible for running conduit, greasing machinery, working with PLC’s, troubleshooting, responding to on-call situations, building maintenance and more

Compensation Package & Benefits:

• Up to $30/hr based on experience
• $.75/hr shift differential for 2^ndand 3^rd shift 
• Yearly Pay Evaluations for knowledge
• 401K with match

• PTO and Holidays

Schedule: 2^nd or 3^rd shift available

• 2^ndshift, Monday – Friday 2pm-10:30pm
• 3^rd shift Sunday – Thursday shift 10pm-6:30am
• Ability to pick up overtime when available

Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be okay with working both in/outdoors
• Previous mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
• Electrical maintenance experience is ideal but not required
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
