Inside Sales Representative
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for a professional and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join a growing team in the commercial building supply industry. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of sales experience who enjoys developing relationships, providing exceptional service, and working with repeat customers.

 

Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll primarily manage inbound calls, provide quotes, process orders, and build strong partnerships with contractors and builders. You’ll handle products such as commercial doors, frames, and hardware. While most work is done in-office, occasional travel (about once a month for 3 days) will be required for customer visits or training.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, quotes, and orders
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with repeat customers
• Prepare and process sales documents using Word and Excel
• Coordinate with production and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Occasionally travel out of town (approximately once per month, 3 days at a time)
• Assist with pricing, product information, and follow-up communication
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer data

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience (inside or outside)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional and mature demeanor
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with commercial building materials or construction industry a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $40,000-45,000 annually (depending on experience)
