Class A CDL Driver

Salary: $32.00-$34.00

PAY RATE: $32.00-$34.00/hour

  

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and acts upon bills of lading, receiving documents and any other documents relevant to shipping and receiving
• Perform data entry to record material transactions and maintenance of paperwork
• Ensure proper labeling of inventory and load inspection
• Properly secure all loads for safe transport
• Follow standard operating procedures for assigned shifts, which can include lifting, moving, and shrink-wrapping loads as well as loading and unloading the truck

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years recent commercial driving experience with similar equipment; may accept minimum of 2 years commercial experience with zero violations / accidents
• Current class A CDL and medical card
• Demonstrated backing experience with tractor trailer of 53 ft long
• Must have basic knowledge of desktop applications, e-mail, and smart-phone applications.
• Follow standard operating procedures for assigned shifts, which can include lifting, moving, and shrink-wrapping loads as well as loading and unloading the truck.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Equipment Used:

• Pallet Jack

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; beyond 50 pounds with the proper equipment and/or assistance of others
