Farm and Equipment Laborer

• Location: Elberta, AL
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am - 3:30pm 
• Pay: DOE

We are seeking a mechanically inclined, dependable individual to join our clients team as a Farm and Equipment Laborer. This role involves general labor, light equipment maintenance, and tractor operation on a 50-acre farm. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can self-direct, and thrives in a team environment. No major repair experience is required—just the ability to tinker and troubleshoot small issues with tractors and lawn equipment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

·        Operate tractors and assist with mowing, hauling, and general farm tasks

·        Perform light maintenance on tractors, lawn mowers, and other equipment

·        Move heavy bags and materials around the farm and warehouse

·        Walk the property daily to complete assigned tasks and monitor conditions

·        Work safely and mindfully in an outdoor environment with natural hazards (e.g., snakes, insects)

·        Assist with landscaping, warehouse duties, and general labor as needed

·        Collaborate with a team of five and contribute to a “get-it-done” work culture 

 

🧠 Knowledge & Requirements

·        Mechanical aptitude with tractors, lawn mowers, and small engines

·        Experience in farming, landscaping, construction, or general outdoor labor

·        Ability to drive a tractor (forklift experience is a plus; training available)

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

·        Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions

·        Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials

·        Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
