Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with new account setup and service inquiries

• Handle high-volume inbound calls related to billing questions, discrepancies, payments, and account status

• Utilize de-escalation techniques to professionally resolve customer complaints and concerns

• Process billing adjustments, collections, and payment arrangements in accordance with company policies

• Accept and post payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate transaction processing

• Schedule service connections, disconnections, and terminations; create and manage service orders

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in internal systems

• Document detailed notes of all customer interactions, including issues, actions taken, and resolutions

• Perform daily responsibilities in a structured call center environment, including sitting for extended periods

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Pay:

  • $19.00/hour

  • $19.50/hour for bilingual candidates (English/Spanish)

• Status: Temp-to-perm with long-term career potential

Qualifications

• Prior experience required in customer service, with emphasis on:

  • Call center environments

  • Billing and payment processing

  • Collections and account resolution

  • Customer de-escalation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
