Position: Truss Builder

Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Flathead Valley

What You’ll Do

  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks to build trusses, panels, stairs, windows, or doors
  • Place parts in correct positions and fasten them using bolts, clips, screws, cement, or other methods
  • Cut materials to precise measurements
  • Remove defective products and maintain quality standards
  • Operate machinery for force‑fitting and fastening
  • Rotate between workstations based on production needs
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment with changing product models
  • Clean equipment, floors, and work areas following safety procedures

What You Bring

  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Problem‑solving skills for simple, concrete tasks

Experience

  • No formal education or experience required
  • Knowledge of framing or construction is helpful but not mandatory

Qualities

  • Fast‑paced, safety‑minded, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working with hands and getting dirty

Physical Requirements

  • Continuous walking
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs continuously and 50–100 lbs frequently
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment
