Transmission Assembler

Pay: $22–$27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Assembler with hands-on experience working on automotive transmissions. This position involves assembling CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) units after they have been cleaned, replacing components, and troubleshooting transmission-related issues.

IMPORTANT: Candidates MUST have previous hands-on experience working on transmissions. General automotive or mechanical experience alone may not be sufficient. Experience disassembling, repairing, rebuilding, or assembling transmissions is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble CVT transmissions after components have been cleaned and prepared.
• Inspect transmission components for wear, damage, or defects.
• Replace worn or damaged transmission parts.
• Troubleshoot transmission assembly and operating issues.
• Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to complete transmission work.
• Follow detailed assembly procedures and specifications.
• Inspect completed transmissions to ensure proper assembly and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on experience working on automotive transmissions is REQUIRED.
• Experience with transmission disassembly, rebuilding, repair, or assembly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify worn or defective components.
• Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the workday.
