An established industrial services company is seeking a Plater to join its team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in metal finishing, surface preparation, or electroplating. The successful candidate will assist in preparing, repairing, and finishing components to meet strict quality standards while supporting production efficiency and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply materials to repair, rebuild, or finish a wide range of industrial parts.

• Perform masking, cleaning, fixturing, and other preparation steps prior to plating.

• Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.

• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.

• Drive vehicles or operate equipment as required for parts handling or transport.

• Assist in other areas of production as needed based on changing priorities.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of plating processes and machining practices.

• Prior experience in plating, metal finishing, or a related industrial trade.

• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments.

• Physically capable of:

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs multiple times daily.

  • Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.

  • Climbing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling as needed.

• Comfortable with repetitive motion tasks and handling tools/equipment.
