Construction Foreman – Residential (Commercial Experience a Plus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Foreman III with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, leading crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. While the primary focus is on residential construction, experience in commercial projects is considered a strong plus. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for residential construction projects

• Manage and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers

• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and job specifications

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards

• Maintain and track project timelines, reporting progress or delays to the project manager

• Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety protocols

• Order, track, and manage materials and equipment

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts on-site to maintain workflow

• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders

• Train, mentor, and support team members to promote productivity and skill development 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman or lead in residential construction

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations

• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Commercial construction experience is a plus

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in various weather, and stand for long periods

• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts
