Machine Operator - Manufacturing

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team on third shift. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, performing basic equipment maintenance, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Job Duties

• Operate production machinery and monitor equipment performance throughout the manufacturing process
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs as needed
• Utilize computerized control systems and production software
• Assist with processing and handling production materials
• Maintain inventory records and production documentation
• Record maintenance activities and production information accurately
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and communicate equipment concerns
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation
• Knowledge of PLC systems preferred; training available
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work safely around production equipment and machinery
