Position Title: Front End Loader Operator
Location: Clermont, FL
Schedule: 5 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Saturday as needed
Pay: $20.51

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator to join our sand mining team. The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to support daily activities. This role plays a key part in moving raw materials, loading trucks, feeding processing plants, and ensuring safe and efficient mine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand and aggregate materials.
• Load haul trucks, hoppers, and conveyors with raw material.
• Maintain consistent feed to processing equipment to support production targets.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform routine preventive maintenance (fueling, lubrication, etc.).
• Monitor material quality during handling and report irregularities.
• Maintain haul roads, stockpiles, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Comply with all MSHA, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Complete production and equipment logs accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment (CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with sand, gravel, or aggregate mining operations is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, operating procedures, and site instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to sit for long periods while operating equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as production requires.
