Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of various mechanical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The machine mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and Maintain Machines: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and Repair: Identify mechanical issues and provide timely solutions to prevent disruptions in production.
• Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble machines or mechanical components, as required, to conduct repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct Machine Overhauls: Perform complete overhauls of machines and mechanical systems to restore functionality or improve performance.
• Install Equipment: Assist in the installation of new machinery or mechanical systems, ensuring proper setup and operation.
• Document Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other maintenance staff to resolve complex issues and improve equipment performance.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols while working on machinery and tools, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Order and Maintain Parts Inventory: Monitor and request parts and tools required for machine repairs, and maintain an inventory of spare parts.
