Express Employment Professionals is hiring Facility Maintenance Mechanics for a local company. The Facility Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks on building systems and equipment. This includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems, ensuring the facility remains safe, operational, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards

Essential Functions

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
• Install new equipment or components as required.
• Maintain and update maintenance records and work logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests.
• Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assist with building renovations and special projects as needed.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when necessary.

Pay: $22.00/HR - $25.00/HR DOE

Schedule:  7:00am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in general building maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance software and email.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
