Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Welder for a local construction client. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures related to construction materials such as steel beams, rebar, pipes, frames, and other structural elements. This position requires precision, experience with a variety of welding techniques, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld structural and construction materials including steel, aluminum, and iron using MIG welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan and execute welds.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other hand or power tools.
• Inspect welds and finished products for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.
• Cut, shape, and join metal components to fabricate building frameworks, supports, and reinforcements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Pay: $ 20.00/HR - $22.00/HR DOE

Schedule: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in welding is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of welding experience in construction or industrial setting.
• Proficient in multiple welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job site safety best practices.
