Express Employment is looking for a Groundskeeper. This position requires 1-2 years of current experience.

Hours: Monday –  Thursday, 6:00AM – 4:30PM (work hours varies)

Pay: $18-$24/Hour DOE

  Work Hours: Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm, Weekends and overtime as needed, work hours may vary

  Job Description: 
  •    Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
  •    Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
  •    Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools
  •    Perform testing utilizing certified test equipment and complete all QA/QC documentation as required by the QA/QC program 
  •    Perform hands-on workshop and/or on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment, machine material and/or parts with various machining equipment
  •    Ensure work and used materials are in compliance with manufacturer specifications
  •    Follow SQF maintenance protocol or procedures
  •    Serves as assistant to maintenance
  •    Maintain records of treatment, storage, etc of all waste for cartage
  •    Monitor trench system levels and maintains according to standard operating procedures 
  •    Operate a wide variety of chemical processing equipment including but not limited to filter presses, membrane filtration units, metering pumps, PH control probes, batch          mixers, centrifugal pumps
  •    Involved in preparing solid chemical compounds
  •    Weigh and measure ingredients, clean, load, operate and unload filtration units
  •    Assist In developing processing procedures, suggesting changes to facilitate operation
  •    Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
  •    Move material and containers as required

  Qualifications and Requirements: 
  •    3 years of recent experience or equivalent education 
  •    Knowledge of food safety and SQF standards 
  •    Supervisorial experience preferred but not required
  •    License: CDL

• Trims bushes, shrubs, and hedges.
• Plants trees and prunes them when necessary.
• Pick up refuge from plant grounds.
• Installing and or maintaining sprinkler and irrigation systems.
• Complete assigned duties on the master cleaning schedule at a specified frequency.
• Assist in tasks required to ensure the plant is clean and ready for an inspection at any time.
• Analyze and resolve sanitation work problems, or assist workers in solving sanitation work problems.
• Responsible for keeping designated areas of outside grounds cleaned all year round.
• Assist in the process of cleaning ceilings, walls, floors, overhead pipes, and other areas as assigned.
• Assist with cleaning production equipment when needed.
• Pick up refuge from plant grounds.
• Comply with all Facility, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Procedures.
• Comply with Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
• Follow all relevant Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure all job duties are understood.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to ensure the appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct verification of monitoring activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications, as necessary.
• Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
• Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.

Requirements:

• Must have 1-2 years of current experience.
• Must have organizational skills.
• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
• Ability to prioritize on the spot and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Must have knowledge and experience operating a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift), Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat), Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift.
• Obtain and maintain a QAL or QAC license preferred.
