Part Time Scale Attendant

Salary: $15.00

Job Duties:

• Responsible for monitoring and operating the truck scale system to accurately record incoming and outgoing loads 
• Inspecting materials for compliance with landfill regulations 
• Verifying customer information
• Issuing scale tickets
• Maintaining accurate transaction records 
• Ensure all interactions with customers and drivers are conducted in courteous, professional and efficient manner
• Accurate and timely processing of all scale transactions, proper documentation of load types, and adherence to all company and regulatory procedures 
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe organized work environment 

Requirements: 

• Strong computer and data entry skills 
• Attentive to detail 
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment 
• Effectively communicate verbally
• Basic math skills
• Familiarity with ticketing or point-of-sale systems preferred 
• Previous experience in a clerical, customer service, or scale house environment preferred 
• High School Diploma or equivalent 

Work Schedule: 8am to 12pm on Saturday's
