Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
• Monitor driver logs, track routes, and update records in dispatch software
• Communicate daily with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure clear delivery instructions and resolve any issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road conditions, traffic, and weather to optimize delivery routes
• Upload load status and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
• Provide real-time support to drivers to address delays, breakdowns or delivery issues
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to maximize efficiency and reduce delivery costs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and phone
• Occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.
