Salary: $20.00-$25.00/Hour DOE

Express Employment Professionals is hiring MIG Welders for local production facilities. The welder performs repetitive workstation welding operations to mass produce axle components or to assemble those components onto a completed axle. Welders should be familiar with automated welding and gauging.

 

Job Duties:

• Welders are responsible for reading and understanding the following documentation:

• • Standard Operating Procedures
  •  Job Hazard Analysis
  • Live Electrical Training
  • Shop Floor Orders
  • Job Aids

• Weld and assemble component parts
•  Follow all procedures and shop floors to ensure a quality product
•  Inform their supervisor of any and all shortages and possible substitutions
• Follow schedules and ensuring that schedules are completed on time and correctly
• Inform the supervisor/group leader of any problems or quality defects
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulation
•  Rework axles as needed
• Perform other tasks or duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/Hour DOE

Schedule: 1st or 2nd Shift, 6:00AM-4:00PM or 4:00PM-12:30AM, OT Available and Mandatory

Requirements

•  Must have MIG welding experience
• Welders must be safety conscious, detail-oriented and have the ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Must possess a good work ethic, be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
• Must have the flexibility to work overtime
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
