Utility Worker – $15.50 per hour

Express Employment Professionals are hiring a Utility Worker for a local Plastic Manufacturing in Loudon, Tennessee.

Utility Worker Responsibilities:

Assembles spools and/or packaging per oral instructions, using glue gun and/or staples gun and Manuel hand motions. Carries or hauls necessary parts to assembly site.
Catches and packages plastic parts on the production line. Catches random length of material as they are cut by automatic equipment and lays or coils them into a carton. Moves or helps to move the full carton from the operating area.
Operates a Machine to heat weld plastic parts together. Controls heat and timing settings on machine to get an acceptable weld. Follows written and/or oral instructions. Packaging finished welded parts

Utility Worker Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all unites of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Employees must have the ability and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift.
